Portable Fire Extinguishers need to be tagged & tested every six (6) months. All fire extinguishers need to be refilled and pressure tested every five (5) years. AS2444-requires extinguishers to be located approximately every 20m. All extinguishers need to be installed with its correct bracket, signage, tags and seals. All of our extinguishers when purchased online come tagged in the correct year/month. We can test your portable fire extinguishers @ $15 + GST each

A 90 minute test is carried out to the Emergency and Exit lights every six (6) months. Emergency and Exit lighting illuminates the path of egress outlining exit doors and designated travel ways to get you out of the building safely. As emergency & exit lights are a battery operated unit they do fail and need to be replaced. We can replace all failed emergency & exit lights. A 90 minute emergency & exit light test will set you back $80 + GST

Fire Hose Reels need to be tested every six (6) months. Fire Hose Reels are 36m in length and can cover a diameter of approximately 40m from the point of installment. We can test your fire hose reels @ $15 + GST  & replace if leaking or faulty @ $600 + GST.

Fire Hydrants are tagged & tested every 6 months. They are used by the NSWFB in an emergency situation. We check that they are clean, accessible & have the correct NSW storz thread along with water pressure for when the NSWFB need to use them. We charge $15 + GST to tag and test each hydrant. Hydrants pump set (electric & diesel) are quoted on a per job basis.

Smoke and heat alarms need to be tested every year, usually when the fire doors are being tested to minimise disruption to the tenant/owner. Every house, home, unit is required to have a suitable number of smoke alarms installed from 1 May, 2006. Smoke alarms should be located on every level of your home. You should replace the battery in each smoke alarm at least once a year. We can test your smoke alarms @ $15 + GST each and if needed replace hard wired photo-electric smoke alarms @ $180 + GST and thermal/heat alarms @ $200 + GST.

Fire doors and solid core doors are tested annually. AS1905.1 requires fire doors to close automatically, have a Fire Resistant Level (FRL) tag, NO deadbolts or chains installed or fitted & that all gaps around the top, side and bottom comply with the make of door. We clean the hinge set and inside or frame. For any repairs it is best to use your carpenter or handyman as they can usually repair most items. Annual testing of fire doors will cost you $15 + GST per fire door.

Final Fire Safety Certificates (FFSC) are certificates signed by an individual which states that after buildings upgrades or a new installation works that the building’s NEW fire equipment complies with the relevant standards of performance as stated in the Australian Standards and Building Codes of Australia (BCA). This is required after an upgrade OR repairs are carried out. We charge $150 + GST to issue each FFSC

Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) are certificate signed by an individual which states that the building’s fire equipment complies with the relevant standards of performance as stated in the Australian Standards and Building Codes of Australia (BCA). This is required by council and your insurance every 12 months. Like rego for a car but for your building. We charge $150 + GST to issue an AFSS
